  • Mission

The Shepherd’s Center of McLean-Arlington-Falls Church (SCMAFC) was founded in 2006 to address the needs of older adults aging in place, focused primarily on providing much needed transportation and simple home maintenance. We assist our aging community members in maintaining independent and safe lifestyles in their own homes, by providing free rides to medical and therapy appointments, and to grocery stores. As an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to serving seniors in need in Northern Virginia.

    About Us

Provide free services that include transportation (to medical and therapy appointments, the pharmacy and grocery store), handy helpers (minor home repairs, chore assistance and yard work), and friendly visitors (making calls to homebound persons for reassurance and friendly talks on a regular basis). Our clients reside in McLean, Arlington, or Falls Church.
