We refurbish and distribute donated laptops to young adults who need this technology to succeed in school. To this end, we deliver hands-on, technical training that empowers students and volunteers. We partner with local organizations to expand our reach and impact.

Laptop Upcycle distributes laptops (and free WiFi) to students in need in and around Montclair, NJ. We support Northern NJ, but note that you must pick up your laptop in our lab in Montclair. Qualification is simple, certification of participation in your schools free/reduced lunch program or a note from a school counselor or administrator.

We are supported fully by financial and equipment donations. Your consideration directly impacts the continued success of our mission and the magic of placing technology in the hands of the next generation of leaders. Monetary contributions help pay our bills.

Since 2017 Laptop Upcycle has succeeded in delivering over 2100 laptops and hundreds of free WiFi hotspots to students in our public schools. Our simple goal of helping young adults Get the technology tools they need while we and they Give back to the community has made us all winners.
