    About Us

The National Organization for Arts in Health (NOAH) is a nonprofit membership organization serving individuals and institutions dedicated to integrating the arts into healthcare and community settings. Our mission is to build community to amplify, educate about, and advocate for the power of the arts to improve health and wellbeing for all people. We provide highly regarded national conferences, member services and resources to support the development of the arts in health field. The field is rapidly growing as more organizations, communities, and individuals are beginning to understand the impacts the arts and culture have on health and well-being, and the need for equitable solutions for community health.

Founded in 2016, NOAH has over 670 individual and organizational members including artists, arts administrators, healthcare professionals (administrative and clinical), researchers, creative and expressive arts therapists, designers, educators, and students. We're a small organization (1 -2 staff, 20-member volunteer board) with steady growth.
