Save the Youth

Save the Youth is a student-led nonprofit that connects high school students in the United States and Korea through weekly one-on-one conversations. We believe young people learn best from one another, so we bring them together to share their cultures, understand each other's world, and build English fluency and confidence along the way. Everything runs online, so students can take part from anywhere.

Save the Youth is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on a simple belief: that young people have the most to learn from one another. Through our Global Cultural Exchange Program, we pair high school students in the U.S. with students in Korea for weekly one-on-one sessions over Google Meet, where they share their language, culture, and daily life as equals.

At our core, we care about mutual understanding. These sessions are not one-directional lessons but genuine exchanges where both students share, listen, and grow, and where the student's English naturally strengthens through real conversation. We believe understanding between cultures grows best through honest, personal connection.

We are also proud to be run entirely by students. From matching participants to leading each program, young people drive everything we do, and that ownership shapes how we serve our community.

Accessibility is central to our mission. Because everything runs online, any student can take part regardless of where they live, and our mentors earn verified service hours while building a real connection with a peer across the world.
