West After School Center, Inc., dba Afterschool Programs of Lancaster

Our mission is to provide programs and services that enrich the educational, social and cultural opportunities for students and families in our community. With the help of our passionate volunteers, administrative staff, board members, and community partners, we are devoted to making a difference in the academic achievement and quality of life for these young children.

For 25 years we have provided thousands of children from our community with Out of School Time (OST) homework help, math and reading tutoring, social emotional learning, adult mentoring, and meals. In addition to OST services, we also offer before/after school child care to provide families with a safe, academically enriching environment when their child is not in school. We serve students and families in all five of our district elementary schools contributing to the supportive structure these students need to thrive and become successful members of our community. Afterschool Programs of Lancaster delivers high quality programs that are proven to positively impact student outcomes in academic performance and provide educational enrichment.
