At Play: A Community Playspace, Inc.

At Play is a nonprofit community playspace and play café located in Rhinebeck, New York. Our mission is to foster joyful, inclusive, and developmentally enriching play for children while cultivating meaningful connections for families. We believe in the power of play to support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, and we strive to make this accessible to all through a welcoming, community-driven space.

At Play is grounded in a strengths-based, neuropositive approach that is responsive to each individual’s unique ways of learning, playing, and connecting. Across all of our offerings—from open play and classes to caregiver support and therapeutic work—we prioritize dignity and autonomy. We believe that true inclusion embraces and affirms all identities, and that communities are stronger and more vibrant when they are enriched by diverse perspectives and experiences. By supporting the whole child and family, we strive to create an environment where everyone is seen, valued, and empowered.
