Mission Statement

The GEM Club Mission is to empower girls to know and protect their worth, grow healthy relationships, be leaders in their schools, and contributing members of their communities.

The GEM Club (Girls Empowerment Movement) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering middle school girls in grades 6–8 through a three-year, scaffolded empowerment curriculum. Built around four core pillars — self-love, relationships, life skills, and community — GEM Club engages young women through weekly meetings, community service, girls' nights, and fundraising experiences. Our progressive program — Resilience GEMs, GRIT GEMs, and Thrive GEMs — meets girls at every stage of their journey, equipping them with the confidence, character, and tools they need to thrive.
