Welcoming the Stranger

Welcoming the Stranger is an educational nonprofit that provides free educational opportunities and resources to immigrants and refugees as they navigate life in the United States. We provide free classes in English, computer skills, and citizenship preparation to adult immigrants and refugees in the suburbs of Philadelphia, as well as workshops, referrals, and community networks to help navigate life in a new country. Classes are offered at no cost to all students regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, or national origin.
