    About Us

    Mission

My Seniors Keeper Foundation, Inc. (MSK) is an intergenerational nonprofit advancing environmental and social justice by transforming underutilized land into spaces for food production, green workforce training, and community resilience. Through land stewardship and community engagement, MSK equips residents in historically disinvested neighborhoods to build healthier environments, stronger local economies, and pathways into the green sector.

    Where We Work

Headquartered in Washington, DC, MSK’s flagship Applied Research Urban Farm in Washington, DC's Ward 7; serves as a hub for environmental stewardship, workforce training, and food production. The organization has expanded its model to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where it supports North Tulsa families and the historic Greenwood District through land-based learning, homesteading education, and environmental justice initiatives.

    What We Do

MSK’s programs integrate three core pillars:

    Green Workforce Development

Hands-on training in urban agriculture, green infrastructure, carpentry, and environmental stewardship. Participants gain paid experience through initiatives such as Hustlaz 2 Harvesters (H2H), MSK’s workforce subsidiary.

    Intergenerational Land Stewardship

Residents reclaim underutilized land for food cultivation, composting, and environmental restoration while seniors mentor youth and community members.

    Community Resilience

MSK strengthens neighborhoods through food access programs, volunteer engagement, and community-led environmental initiatives that promote safety, stability, and economic opportunity.
