Southern Service Workers Education Fund, Inc.

The Southern Service Workers Education Fund is a key component of the Union of Southern Service Workers’ strategy to end poverty wage work in the South. As the movement home for USSW, we train new organizers in base-building, build worker power across the service industry, and strategize to win structural changes in communities and institutions across the South. We are fighting to transform low-wage, high-turnover jobs into good union jobs, and our members are taking collective action to shift the balance of power in the South.
