Forever Amber Acres

The mission of Forever Amber Acres Animal Sanctuary ( www.foreveramber.org) is to provide purposeful rehabilitation, training, retirement aftercare and refuge for special needs horses and other animals to serve others. FAAAS is part of a national ad-hoc anti-slaughter rescue network that works with other individuals and organizations to advocate for animal welfare and humane treatment for equines and all animals.

We provide equine therapy to veterans, military, and first responders at no cost to them. We have served over 1,000 veterans.

Founded in 2008 by Michele Bolinger, FAAAS operated as a private, self-funded charity prior to obtaining 501-c3 status in 2014. We are an all-volunteer organization with 100% of revenue from all sources going directly to the care of our special needs animals and the maintenance of the facility they call "home."

Our horses provide equine therapy to veterans, military, and first responders at not cost to them.
