    The Buckeye Forest Council (BFC) is a grassroots, membership based organization dedicated to protecting Ohio's native forests and their inhabitants through education, advocacy and organizing. The Buckeye Forest Council works to halt ecologically harmful activities on Ohio’s State Forests and the Wayne National Forest and promotes citizen participation in public forest management.
