Tanzania Teaching Foundation

The Tanzania Teaching Foundation (TTF) is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, families, and communities in Tanzania through a targeted education program. Our English Bridge Program enrolls 20 girls and 20 boys from rural Tanzania who are about to enter secondary school (high school). The program gives students the necessary skills to succeed and excel in secondary school. TTF works to sustain long-term relationships with members of the Manow community and to enrich the lives of both Tanzanians and our American volunteers.

• Expand access to education through targeted English instruction.
• Empower local teachers with resources and training.

Our Achievements

Since its inception, TTF has:

• Graduated over 600 students from our English Bridge Program, many of whom have gone on to excel in secondary school and earn university degrees in fields such as medicine, engineering, and education.
• Partnered with a local school to share resources, enhance teaching practices, and strengthen community ties.
• Maintained a dedicated network of volunteers and donors who share our vision of empowerment through education.
