    Importance of Digital Publication

Digital publication of students’ stories, poems, essays, news articles, opinions, and artworks fosters confidence, motivation, and public self-expression. Students may submit their work through the Lekhankala.org website by uploading their writings or artworks via the submission portal or by emailing them as instructed.

Each submission is reviewed by the editorial team for originality and quality. Selected works are published on the website, either in the main gallery or in themed issues and digital magazines, thereby providing students with a platform to showcase their talents. Authors are notified of their publication status, and feedback or encouragement may be provided to support continued participation.

To further recognize and motivate student contributors, individuals whose work is selected for publication may receive certificates, awards, or special acknowledgment on the platform and at events. Public recognition of student achievements serves to inspire greater participation.

    AI and Original Writing Policy

Lekhankala.org will implement a policy that emphasizes responsible AI use, original writing, and creations grounded in authentic experiences and ideas. Responsible AI use includes utilizing digital tools to brainstorm, edit, or clarify one’s own work, but not submitting AI-generated text as original content.

For example, students may use AI to generate ideas, improve grammar, check spelling, or receive feedback on structure and organization. Finding synonyms or rephrasing your own sentences for clarity is also acceptable.

However, submitting AI-generated stories or essays without adding personal input or creative thought will be considered plagiarism. For instance, copying entire passages from AI or submitting an AI-generated essay with minimal changes is unacceptable.

Acceptable use entails employing AI to enhance one’s own work and learning, while ensuring that the core content and ideas remain original. The platform aims to prevent plagiarism and foster a creative, accountable writing environment.
