Formerly Incarcerated College Graduates Network
Mission
FICGN advances the success, leadership, and economic mobility of formerly incarcerated college graduates through peer-driven programs, network support, and systems change — led by and for the people most directly impacted.
About Us
The Formerly Incarcerated College Graduates Network (FICGN) is a national nonprofit organization composed of and led by formerly incarcerated college graduates. Our network spans nearly every U.S. state and Washington, D.C., and includes over 2,000 members who are scholars, advocates, practitioners, and emerging leaders working to transform the systems that shaped their lives.
Our programs, including FIELD, the Success Coach model, and the Workforce Development Academy, are designed to meet members at every stage of their educational and professional journey.
We believe that higher education transforms lives, and that the people who have lived that transformation are best positioned to lead the work of expanding access, building community, and driving lasting change.
