Double J Ranch

Nestled in the scenic coastal town of Montara, California, Double J Ranch is more than just a horseback riding facility—it's a nonprofit sanctuary dedicated to the care, rehabilitation, and lifelong support of rescued horses. Located at 1208 Alamo Street, the ranch operates under the 501(c)(3) designation and is committed to fostering compassion, education, and healing through equine experiences.

The ranch is home to horses like Alibi, a spirited companion who, despite being unrideable, brings joy to visitors, and Smoky, a paint horse recovering from serious hoof and leg issues. These horses are supported through donations and community engagement, with programs designed to connect people of all ages to the world of horsemanship.
