Helping our community one word at a time. Since 1969, the San Gabriel Valley Literacy Council has provided small group English language and citizenship classes for adult learners in Pasadena and the surrounding communities. We serve a diverse group of people from around the world, helping them to become more effective and involved parents, workers, and active members of society.
