Docip: Indigenous Peoples' Center for Documentation, Research and Information 

As a service organization for Indigenous delegations, Docip organises technical secretariats at the United Nations during the principal international conferences, such as: 

• the sessions of the Human Rights Council in Geneva

• the sessions of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues in New York 
  
• the sessions of the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples
• the sessions of the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization

as well as other conferences if necessary and upon request, and depending on the availability of volunteers.

The technical secretariats serve as a back office for Indigenous delegations, providing them with translation and interpretation services, necessary office supplies and telecommunication services, useful contact information (international organizations, addresses, the press), etc.
