Mighty Mutts

Non-profit organization dedicated to saving stray dogs, cats and animals from the cruel streets of New York City. We vaccinate, blood test and neuter all animals prior to adoption. All homes are personally screened. Founded by John Contino, we offer pet adoption in New York City. Our ultimate goal is to construct a facility in which we would be able to house many more animals than we have today (300). To date, the organization, which subsists solely on private donations, has managed to purchase seven acres of land in central New Jersey to begin this project. We meet every Saturday on the corner of 14thSt and Union Square West, NYC to show our adoptable animals. Please come down and meet our "friends"! Perhaps volunteer or sponsor an animal!
