About Us
Our History
Established in 1981 and opened in April 1982, UILC became Utah's first Center for Independent Living. Since opening, we have worked to advance disability rights, remove barriers, and expand opportunities for people with disabilities throughout Utah.
Our Mission
Empower Utahns with disabilities to build skills, access resources, advocate for their rights, and live independently in their communities.
Our Vision
A Utah where people with disabilities have equal access, meaningful opportunities, and the freedom to live life on their own terms.
