The Riverbank Organization

The Riverbank Organization exists to meet the urgent physical needs of children, individuals, and families experiencing crisis through radical generosity. We provide essential items such as beds, furniture, appliances, household necessities, and baby and children’s items to those rebuilding after homelessness, domestic violence, trafficking, foster or kinship involvement, and other difficult circumstances.

Through the generosity of our community, we help turn empty spaces into safe, functional homes—restoring dignity, strengthening families, and providing hope on the path toward stability. 💛

Riverbank believes that everyone deserves the dignity and comfort of a place that feels like home.

We serve individuals and families throughout Southern California who are rebuilding after crisis, including those transitioning out of homelessness, survivors of domestic violence and trafficking, veterans, foster and kinship families, seniors, and families experiencing unexpected hardship. Working alongside social workers, nonprofits, churches, schools, and other community partners, we help bridge the gap between securing housing and actually having the essentials needed to live in it.

Our work is powered by radical generosity. Donated furniture, appliances, beds, household essentials, and baby and children's items are collected, organized, and placed directly into the hands and homes of people who need them.

At Riverbank, we believe generosity is about more than giving things—it's about reminding people that their community sees them, values them, and is willing to show up for them.
