The Brooklyn Youth Tennis Association, Inc. (BYTA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality free/and or low-cost tennis instruction to culturally diverse, urban youth as a tool that supports and enhances their personal growth, physical health and academic achievement. Structured tennis instruction is an excellent vehicle for building character developing discipline, and promoting physical fitness and mental alertness, therefore (BYTA) seeks to build upon these aspects of tennis in order to help youth develop into well rounded adults who are socially responsible and engaged citizens.

    About Us

BYTA uses tennis as a framework to help students develop life-skills they can utilize as they advance in school and their careers. While delivering quality tennis instruction is our primary mission, BYTA has developed programs and
