  • Mission

The Lupus Foundation of America's mission is to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, and advocacy. They aim to solve the "cruel mystery" of lupus and end its brutal impact. The organization also focuses on providing support, services, and hope to those impacted by lupus, and on finding a cure

    About Us

Lupus is a serious and debilitating autoimmune disease that impact primarily women during the prime of their lives; the childbearing years. However, men and children have lupus too. Symptoms can range from skin conditions, chronic fatigue, muscle and joint weakness. In its more serious form, lupus can cause cognitive impairment and impact every organ of the body. The Lupus Foundation of America offers a comprehensive approach to lupus and funds programs in research, education, advocacy and direct services to patients.

The Walk to End Lupus Now is the signature fundraising event for the LFA and the event's goal is to raise awareness of lupus and funds to advance the mission of the LFA.
