Ulster Project Delaware

  • Mission

Ulster Project Delaware exists to bring together teens from Northern Ireland and Delaware to promote reconciliation, understanding, leadership, and lasting cross-community friendships.

The program focuses on breaking down cultural, religious, and social barriers by creating shared experiences in a supportive and neutral environment. Through host family stays, community activities, service opportunities, and relationship-building, participants develop tolerance, mutual respect, leadership skills, and a deeper understanding of one another while building lifelong connections.

    About Us

Ulster Project Delaware values reconciliation, respect, understanding, leadership, service, and community. The organization believes meaningful relationships and shared experiences can break down barriers, encourage empathy, and help young people become positive leaders in their communities.

The program serves teenagers from historically divided communities in Northern Ireland and Delaware, along with their host families, volunteers, and the broader community, by creating opportunities for cultural exchange, personal growth, and lasting connections.
