Mission
The Kateri Tekakwitha Fund is a small 501 ( c ) (3 ) non-profit based in Pacifica CA. The Fund’s mission is to empower Guatemalan women to break the cycle of poverty by having a positive impact on their lives, families, and communities through collaboration and educational scholarships and support, so that the next generation can reach its full potential.
About Us
The Fund works through a Guatemalan staff based in Chimaltenango, Guatemala. It supports two programs: a scholarship program for nurse's training, and an intern program to provide work experience for young women.
