About Us

Congregation Rodeph Sholom, is a Reform congregation located in New York City. Congregation Rodeph Sholom blends the teachings of Jewish heritage with the best lessons of modern culture. Offering worship services, social action, and Jewish education.

In 1875, the congregation began using a Conservative service with organ music and a choir. In 1901, Rodeph Sholom joined the Union of American Hebrew Congregations becoming part of the Reform movement.

In 1970 Congregation Rodeph Sholom established the first Reform Jewish Day School in North America.
