About Us

Our Mission

CASA of Baltimore recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers appointed to individual foster children by the Baltimore City Juvenile Court. CASA advocates serve as a consistent adult presence by monitoring that child's well-being and providing objective written recommendations to the court.

Our Special Forces

CASA volunteers ensure that children receive appropriate services and timely resolutions, resulting in safe permanent homes. CASA volunteers visit the court assigned children, their parents, foster parents, teachers, social workers, therapists and court personnel;write court reports and provide recommendations to the court reflecting the best interests of the children. Volunteer Applicants must be 21 and take a mandatory training class series.
