    The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to restore human rights to the field of mental health by ensuring that criminal abuses are speedily investigated and prosecuted and that people's rights are legally protected.

    About Us

    With over 35 years of leadership in securing mental health reforms -- including more than 100 legislative reforms internationally -- CCHR is recognized as the authority on the safeguards necessary for a safer, saner, cost effective and accountable mental health system. CCHR was established in 1969 by the Church of Scientology as an independent body to investigate and expose psychiatric violations of human rights.
