  • About Us

The Esperanza Education Fund is a volunteer-run college scholarship and mentorship program for immigrant students in the capital region. Founded in 2009 by a diverse group of young professionals, we have experienced tremendous growth in the past seven years, awarding an average of $100,000 a year and matching them with mentors in their respective fields. Unlike most programs of its kind, the Esperanza program is open to all immigrant students, regardless of ethnicity, national origin, or immigration status.
