World Affairs Council - Washington, DC

The World Affairs Council of Washington, DC is a non-profit non-partisan organization dedicated to increasing public awareness about global issues. The Council offers programs and events featuring foreign dignitaries, American officials, legislatures, and other experts to foster public discussion and debate on the global challenges and policy choices facing the United States. The Council mission of expanding public knowledge and understanding of international affairs also extends to DC area schools. Through its educational workshops and travel programs the Council aims to promote international education in local schools.
