Description:
Army Pink’s Pathway to Freedom initiative supports survivors of domestic violence by providing safe transportation and access to essential resources. We are seeking a volunteer PR & Communications Specialist to help us tell our story, create outreach materials, and increase our nonprofit’s visibility.
Volunteer Tasks / Responsibilities:
- Draft and edit email templates for outreach to volunteers, donors, and potential partners.
- Support social media messaging and campaign creation.
- Assist with press materials and media outreach, including press releases and story summaries.
- Ensure all communications accurately reflect Army Pink’s mission and values.
- Optional: provide guidance on branding, visual storytelling, and messaging strategy.
Skills / Qualifications:
- PR, communications, marketing, or nonprofit storytelling experience.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate nonprofit programs into clear, engaging messaging.
- Experience with email marketing, social media campaigns, or press outreach is a plus.
