    Volunteer PR & Communications Specialist – Nonprofit Outreach

    Description:

    Army Pink’s Pathway to Freedom initiative supports survivors of domestic violence in Southern Nevada by providing safe transportation and access to essential resources. We are seeking a volunteer PR & Communications Specialist to help us tell our story, create outreach materials, and increase our nonprofit’s visibility.

    Volunteer Tasks / Responsibilities:

    • Draft and edit email templates for outreach to volunteers, donors, and potential partners.
    • Support social media messaging and campaign creation.
    • Assist with press materials and media outreach, including press releases and story summaries.
    • Ensure all communications accurately reflect Army Pink’s mission and values.
    • Optional: provide guidance on branding, visual storytelling, and messaging strategy.

    Skills / Qualifications:

    • PR, communications, marketing, or nonprofit storytelling experience.
    • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
    • Ability to translate nonprofit programs into clear, engaging messaging.
    • Experience with email marketing, social media campaigns, or press outreach is a plus.
