    Description

Become a Companion for an Older Adult!

Porchlight Friends provides companionship visits for older adults in their homes. We assist with non-medical projects in the home and provide transportation for errands and doctor appointments. The visits last 2 hours and our volunteer companions can choose how many visits per week they would like to complete. Visits typically take place during the day, Monday through Friday.

Our Volunteer companions complete an application, do a face-to-face interview, complete a background check and online training before they meet with our clients.

Our services typically operate during the week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with some evening visits available.
