Don’t let them face the hardest part of their life without their best friend.
For many hospice patients, their pets provide unconditional love and comfort when words are too hard to say. However, the physical and financial challenges of a terminal illness can make it difficult to provide basic care like dog walking, feeding, or vet visits.
How You Can Help:
- Pet Care Assistance: Provide in-home support such as walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes, or basic grooming.
- Transportation: Drive pets to veterinary or grooming appointments.
- Pet Food Delivery: Assist with picking up and delivering pet food and supplies.
- Re-homing Support: Help find permanent, loving homes for pets if a patient can no longer care for them or after a patient passes away.
