    SEVA Travelers spend 4 -5 days with the organization (mornings on-site, afternoons exploring--enough time to collect information for the project). They continue the engagement virtually, meeting via Zoom for 1-3 months to complete the deliverable

    By sharing our expertise with NGOs in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), SEVA Travelers’ pro bono consultants, coaches and trainers are empowering the next generation of social entrepreneurs with the skills they need to succeed.

    Pro-bono Consulting Services

    S.E.V.A. Travelers offers great nonprofits in Asia, Latin America, and Africa free consulting services to achieve greater scale and impact. This pro bono support includes:

    • Grant proposal writing (and training staff how to write winning grant proposals)
    • Foundation and corporate funding prospect research
    • Fundraising strategy development
    • Website design and development
    • Social media, marketing, and communications support
    • Fundraising Databases/software
    • Designing Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation systems

    SEVA Travelers has partnered with GlobalGiving to identify great nonprofits in low- and middle-income countries. Together we have reached out to almost a thousand NGOs in the Global South about our suite of pro bono consulting services and the possibility of hosting a SEVA Traveler. Thanks to this exciting partnership, S.E.V.A.     SEVA Travelers offers eight host organizations to choose from in the Philippines, spanning five diverse regions across the archipelago—Metro Manila, Leyte in the Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Negros Occidental in Western Visayas, and Siargao in the Caraga region of Mindanao. These locations provide volunteers with opportunities to engage in community development, environmental sustainability, education, and youth empowerment initiatives while experiencing the Philippines’ vibrant cultures and landscapes.

    These vetted and verified NGOs include:

    FundLife — Dreams Tower / A-303 Mendoza Complex, Sto. Niño Street, Tacloban City, Leyte (Headquarters).

    Strengthening NGO capacity through skills-building, CRM fundraising systems, and monitoring & evaluation design to improve donor management and impact tracking for youth-focused education programs.

    Center for Disaster Preparedness Foundation, Inc. (CDP) — B32 L19 A. Bonifacio St., Capitol Estate, Batasan Hills, Quezon City (Metro Manila).

    Building community philanthropy and local fundraising strategies, helping develop donor engagement campaigns rooted in sustainability and solidarity-based giving.

    Women’s Action Against Climate Change Association (WAACCA) — Bliss San Pedro, Leyte.

    Supporting project proposal writing and communications strategy for an organization empowering women leaders in climate justice and environmental advocacy.

    Association of Locally Empowered Youth in Northern Mindanao (ALEY-NM) — Cagayan de Oro, Northern Mindanao.

    Enhancing fund development and website strategy to expand the reach of youth empowerment programs in Northern Mindanao.

    Water, Agroforestry, Nutrition and Development Foundation (WAND Foundation) — Lubluban, Libertad, Misamis Oriental (Mindanao).

    Assisting in grant proposal writing, website development, and fund development planning for a foundation advancing sustainable water access, agroforestry, and nutrition initiatives.

    Cartwheel Foundation, Inc. (CFI) — 218 Unit F Malinao St., Barangay Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City (Metro Manila).

    Developing a communications plan and manual, improving monitoring & evaluation systems, and strengthening fundraising strategies to support education for indigenous and marginalized Filipino youth.

    Kolekbibo — Barangay Bitaug, Burgos, Siargao (Surigao del Norte).

    Supporting marketing, fundraising, and organizational development for a social enterprise and wellness collective that promotes sustainable community programs in Siargao.

    Alternative Indigenous Development Foundation, Inc. (AIDFI) — AIDFI Building, Murcia Road, Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

    Creating a fund development and marketing strategy for sustainable water systems and eco-technologies like the AIDFI hydraulic ram pump, improving livelihoods in upland farming communities.
