    Nonprofit Budget & Grants Planning Advisor (2027)

    About Army Pink

    Army Pink is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe, reliable transportation that helps survivors of domestic violence escape and begin their path to freedom.

    We are preparing for our next phase of growth and are looking for an experienced nonprofit finance and grants professional to help us develop our 2027 organizational budget and strengthen our long-term financial planning.

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a volunteer advisor with experience in nonprofit budgeting, grants, and financial planning who can help review our current financial structure and assist with creating our 2027 organizational budget.

    This person will work closely with leadership to ensure our budget aligns with:

    • Program goals
    • Fundraising strategy
    • Grant opportunities
    • Operational needs
    • Future growth plans

    Responsibilities

    • Review current organizational financial information and planning documents
    • Help create a comprehensive 2027 nonprofit operating budget
    • Provide guidance on realistic revenue projections and expense planning
    • Help align budget categories with nonprofit grant requirements
    • Review program budgets for initiatives including transportation services, survivor support programming, and organizational operations
    • Identify areas where stronger financial documentation can support future grant applications
    • Provide recommendations for sustainable financial planning

    Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for someone with:

    • Experience creating or reviewing nonprofit budgets
    • Understanding of nonprofit operations and financial planning
    • Experience supporting grant applications or grant budgets
    • Familiarity with nonprofit revenue streams, fundraising projections, and restricted funding
    • Ability to translate organizational goals into realistic financial plans

    Experience with 501(c)(3) organizations, grant budgets, or nonprofit financial management is strongly preferred.
