    Description

Board Director for Small Friendly Non-Profit

Recovery Room 7 – Christian Addiction Recovery Ministry

Recovery Room 7 is seeking a committed, prayerful Board Director - who has a desire to serve - to help steward and strengthen this Christ-centered recovery ministry. No experience necessary - just a willingness to serve.

We are a small, non-denominational Christian nonprofit serving born-again believers who are struggling with addiction. Our mission is to help individuals recover once and be free for life — through total surrender to Jesus Christ.

    WHO WE ARE

Recovery Room 7 is a fully virtual online addiction recovery center serving believers across the United States.

    • We work one-on-one via Zoom
    • Program costs are for a donation of any size the client can afford to ensure accessibility
    • We are non-denominational and doctrinally sound
    • Scripture alone is our final authority
    • Our approach integrates Christian life coaching, mentoring, and Biblical counseling

WHAT YOU WOULD HELP US DO

As a Board Director, you would prayerfully support and help guide the ministry by:

    • Assisting in the relaunch and promotion of the ministry within the Christian community
    • Helping oversee administrative structure and operational integrity
    • Strengthening outreach efforts to churches and communities
    • Providing governance, insight, and accountability for the ministry’s direction

This is a strategic and spiritually meaningful leadership role.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    We are seeking someone who:

    • Is a citizen of the United States
    • Is a born-again, Bible-believing Christian
    • Holds a Biblical worldview, with Scripture as the final authority
    • Can pass a basic background check
    • Is able to provide 3 letters of recommendation from reliable sources
    • Has genuine compassion for those struggling with addiction
    • Is nonjudgmental and grounded in grace and truth
    • Is willing to learn (no addiction field experience required)
    • Does not need prior board experience
    • Can commit approximately one hour every 7 weeks for online board meetings and 2-3 hours of engaging in email and telegram communications
    • Responds to email and Telegram messages in a timely manner
    • Is willing to use Telegram (free app) for board communications

If you feel called to help build something that places Jesus Christ at the center of recovery and governance, we would love to hear from you.

    • This is not just a board position — it is a Kingdom assignment.
