    Description

CASA's are trained volunteers who work as advocates for children who have been removed from their parents home due to abuse or neglect. The CASA volunteer is appointed by the Juvenile Court Judge to advocate for the child's needs and is a voice In Court for the child. Through interviews and information gathering, the CASA makes reports to aid the Court in making decisions regarding the best interests of the child. The goal is for children to have a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible.
