    Description

Remote · Flexible hours · All twelve Project Hub items · Focus: wherever your interests lead

NTARI's Project Hub holds twelve funded-project plans in service of one mission — improve the internet: a compute-and-learning center, farm-cooperative software, home compute nodes that heat houses, an annual index of how governments listen, a mutual-credit trial, a seven-language documentation commons, a paid developer sprint, a digital-preservation endowment, a top-level-domain runway, a paid community tech course, an annual conference, and the stewardship team holding all of it together. Asks range from about $12,000 a year to a multi-million-dollar facility.

As a portfolio writer you choose where to work — follow your interests from project to project, or take the range: letters of inquiry, sponsorship packets, federal narratives, capacity-building cases. Every project comes with a researched plan (budget, metrics, risks) and a funder map verified in August 2026, so you never start from a blank page. Your narratives get peer review and a community vote in NTARI's Slack grant desk, and nothing is submitted without final approval.

Ideal for an experienced grant writer who wants variety — or a newer one

    deciding where to specialize.

    NTARI is a Kentucky 501(c)(3).
