Status: Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

    The Opportunity

Al-Ihsan Canadian Islamic University is seeking an elite financial strategist to serve as University Treasurer. This is a foundational executive role tasked with establishing the financial framework for our British Columbia incorporation and maintaining our Federal regulatory standing.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Dual Incorporation Oversight: Lead the financial documentation and fiscal registration required for both BC Provincial and Federal Canadian incorporation.
    • Fiscal Policy Development: Design and implement robust internal controls, transparent reporting systems, and audit-ready financial policies.
    • Compliance: Oversee the university's status with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), ensuring all filings meet federal standards for educational non-profits.
    • Strategic Budgeting: Collaborate with the Executive Board of Canadian Scholars to manage operational budgets for online and in-person curriculum delivery.

    • Legal Status: Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
    • Expertise: Proven experience in Canadian non-profit accounting, tax law, or high-level corporate financial management.
