The Northwest Railway Museum is seeking friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to join our Docent Program, helping share the Museum’s stories, collections, and working railroad with visitors.
Docents lead guided tours of the Railway History Campus, including the Train Shed Exhibit Hall and the Conservation & Restoration Workshop (CRW). This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy storytelling, engaging with the public, and bringing history to life.
🏛️ What Docents Do
No prior museum or docent experience is required. Training and interpretive materials are provided.
📅 Schedule
Docent opportunities are available year-round during Museum operating hours, with schedules based on volunteer availability and visitor demand.
