    Engagement Overview

    The In-Person Next Gen Pastor exists to lead, disciple, and equip children (Kindergarten–5th Grade) and students (Middle & High School) through physical, on-site ministry. This role is dedicated to creating high-impact, face-to-face environments where young people can Connect, Engage, and Serve. As a hybrid professional, you will focus on building healthy local teams and cultivating spiritual maturity through teaching and coaching, ensuring a seamless experience for families in coordination with the church’s broader mission

    Scope of Services

    • Local Ministry Execution: Lead and manage all physical Sunday and mid-week experiences for students (K–12), ensuring environments are safe and developmentally appropriate.
    • On-Site Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a local team of volunteers to serve as teachers, small group leaders, and mentors.
    • Relational Discipleship: Provide direct pastoral counseling and spiritual formation for local students and their families as part of the church’s shepherding ministry.
    • Physical Space Management: Oversee the logistical setup and curation of physical classrooms or gathering spaces to support the church's mission.
    • Hybrid Alignment: Collaborate with the Online Next Gen Pastor and Operations Pastor to ensure local activities align with the church’s overall teaching and strategic goals.
    • Safety Protocol Implementation: Manage on-site check-in/check-out procedures and ensure all local volunteers adhere to the church’s protective standards.

    Professional Qualifications

    Spiritual & Pastoral

    • Must demonstrate a mature Christian character and professional knowledge that strengthens the ministry infrastructure.
    • Deep commitment to the spiritual formation and discipleship of school-aged children and teenagers.

    Leadership & Development

    • Proven ability to build, equip, and mobilize local volunteer teams.
    • Strong relational and interpersonal skills to build healthy leaders and cultivate community.

    Legal & Safety Requirements

    • Mandatory Background Check: Must successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check and sex offender registry screening to ensure the safety of all minors.
    • Confidentiality: Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement regarding sensitive family and student information.

    Teaching & Organizational

    • Ability to teach and communicate biblical truths effectively to a live audience of children or youth.
    • Strong organizational and creative skills to manage multiple age groups and physical resources.
