    Description

    Land Stewards: Habitat Restoration

Join us in the botanical garden's "Back 5" habitat restoration area to remove invasive plants, maintain trails, and plant native plants on Friday mornings from 9am-noon. The Back 5 is a diverse habitat area that includes sunny slopes, woodsy areas, a vernal pond, and Johnson creek frontage. Volunteers work year round helping to restore and maintain this unique habitat. Volunteers must be able to navigate steep slopes and unimproved trails.
