    Directions

SEVA Travelers offers volunteer placements with impactful organizations in Jamaica, focused on youth empowerment, gender equity, sustainable agriculture, and community development. Volunteers will collaborate with local nonprofits to strengthen fundraising strategies, donor engagement, storytelling, and social enterprise initiatives — all while experiencing Jamaica’s rich culture, natural landscapes, and vibrant communities.

These vetted and verified NGOs include:

I-SEEED Youths Ltd – St. Catherine, Jamaica

I-SEEED Youths Ltd is a youth-led, female-founded social enterprise that empowers young people and survivors of gender-based violence through sustainable agriculture, climate action, and community development. Volunteers will help strengthen fundraising systems and strategies, including donor engagement, proposal development, and storytelling. There is also an opportunity to support social enterprise revenue streams, including agro-tourism experiences, farm-to-table programs, and value-added products such as sweet pepper powders and chutneys. Volunteers can contribute to building a compelling fundraising toolkit, developing donor pipelines, and creating campaign strategies aligned with signature programs like the Girls in Agriculture initiative or the Survivors Thrive Initiative. Additionally, volunteers will help refine impact metrics, theory of change, and brand storytelling to appeal to both local and international funders, enabling the organization to transition toward a more sustainable long-term funding model.
