    3. Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
    4. Interest in nonprofit development, grant writing, international affairs, governance, security studies, public policy, or related fields.
    5. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
    6. Familiarity with grant writing, proposal development, fundraising, nonprofit operations, Grants.gov, foundation portals, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Office is preferred but not required.
    7. Graduate students, early-career professionals, experienced volunteers, and retired development professionals are encouraged to apply.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Research and assess public, private, and foundation funding opportunities aligned with GCPA’s priorities.
    2. Draft, edit, and refine grant proposals, concept notes, letters of inquiry, and supporting narratives.
    3. Translate research plans, project goals, work plans, and expected outcomes into persuasive funder-facing materials.
    4. Assist in preparing proposal attachments, including organizational descriptions, staff biographies, budgets, timelines, and evaluation plans.
    5. Maintain records of prospective funders, grant deadlines, submission requirements, and proposal status.
