    Responsibilities

      • Identify local community organizations, schools, healthcare providers, employers, faith groups, and civic leaders; identify potential partners for STB trainings and blood drives.
      • Support recruitment and mobilization of local STB instructors (identify candidates, explain role/commitment, assist with enrollment into instructor training).
      • Create and maintain an organized interest list (individuals, organizations, preferred dates/locations) for STB classes and volunteer opportunities.
      • Coordinate outreach and scheduling with Bloodworks NW staff and local partners; help promote classes via email, phone, social media, and in-person meetings.
      • Host or attend community meetings and events to raise awareness and gather interest.
      • Track outreach activity and report regular updates to Bloodworks NW (contacts made, leads, instructor pipeline, interest-list status).
      • Help ensure culturally appropriate and accessible outreach for Yakima’s diverse communities (including bilingual outreach if applicable).
      • Support logistics on training days as needed (room setup, participant check-in, materials distribution).

    Qualifications:

      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
