    Description

Remote · Flexible hours · Project Hub #3 · Focus: events, sponsorship, science communication

NTARI — a Kentucky 501(c)(3) improving the internet through open-source, democratically governed software — wants an annual meeting with the feel of DefCon and a character all its own. The speaker wishlist tells you the ambition: MIT system-safety pioneer Nancy Leveson, Turing laureate Leslie Lamport, Nobel laureate Daron Acemoglu, mutual-credit economists Thomas Greco and James Stodder, cooperative-tech scholar Nathan Schneider, Certificate Transparency co-author Ben Laurie, Software Heritage founder Roberto Di Cosmo, and science-fiction author Ruthanna Emrys.

You'll write the money that makes a conference happen: sponsorship packets for aligned companies and foundations, event and convening grants, and speaker-support asks — matching each prospective sponsor to the audience and the ideas the meeting gathers. Sponsorships are relationship documents, so you'll also help shape the tiers and benefits sponsors actually receive.

Great fit if you like events, partnerships, and writing that sells a room.

Remote via NTARI's Slack grant desk, with peer review before anything goes out.
