Description
Help Believe in Me build ethical sponsorship support for Legacy Lounge donor-education events and related community engagement.
The volunteer Legacy Lounge Sponsorship Coordinator will develop approved sponsorship packages, manage qualified prospects and commitments, and coordinate accurate recognition and fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain approved sponsorship levels, benefits, inventory, deadlines, and fulfillment checklists
- Research mission-aligned businesses, advisors, community groups, and prospective sponsors
- Coordinate outreach with the Sponsor Outreach Specialist to prevent duplicate contacts
- Prepare approved proposals, follow-ups, invoices or payment handoffs, agreements, and recognition details
- Track commitments, contacts, restrictions, benefits, deliverables, approvals, and stewardship
- Review logos, names, links, disclosures, and event materials before publication
- Protect donor and sponsor information and honor communication preferences
- Avoid promises of referrals, exclusivity, tax outcomes, professional endorsement, or access to attendees
- Escalate conflicts, restricted terms, privacy requests, or financial questions
Qualifications:
- Experience in sponsorships, fundraising, partnerships, events, sales operations, donor relations, or nonprofit development
- Strong organization, professional communication, recordkeeping, and follow-through
- Comfort with proposals, spreadsheets, CRM systems, and virtual meetings
- At least 21 years old and willing to complete screening
- Ability to follow gift-acceptance, conflict, privacy, and planned-giving boundaries
This is a remote, recurring or project-based role available within the United States. Expect approximately 3–7 hours per month during active campaigns.
