    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with event setup, registration, participant support, route guidance, activity areas, and cleanup
    • Welcome and encourage walkers while helping create a positive and organized event experience
    • Support staff, sponsors, and participants throughout the event
    • Complete assigned tasks based on selected availability and volunteer area

    Qualifications

    • Friendly, dependable, and willing to work with a team
    • Comfortable interacting with participants and providing assistance
    • Able to follow directions and adapt in a fast-paced event environment
    • No previous experience required; training will be provided

    Other Details

    • Volunteers must arrive during their selected shift for check-in and instructions
    • Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups
    • Volunteer T-shirts will be provided
    • Service hours may be available upon request
    • Volunteers help support lupus awareness, education, research, and the local lupus community
