Description
Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup, registration, participant support, route guidance, activity areas, and cleanup
- Welcome and encourage walkers while helping create a positive and organized event experience
- Support staff, sponsors, and participants throughout the event
- Complete assigned tasks based on selected availability and volunteer area
Qualifications
- Friendly, dependable, and willing to work with a team
- Comfortable interacting with participants and providing assistance
- Able to follow directions and adapt in a fast-paced event environment
- No previous experience required; training will be provided
Other Details
- Volunteers must arrive during their selected shift for check-in and instructions
- Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups
- Volunteer T-shirts will be provided
- Service hours may be available upon request
- Volunteers help support lupus awareness, education, research, and the local lupus community
