Volunteer for the School Supply Drive

The school supply collection was a natural extension of Games and Grub and a school supply drive is hosted after the last Wednesday. It's only goal is to provide a hot meal and all of the supplies a student will need for the school year. It is open and available for any and all Charlevoix area students. It is held in the afternoon at First Baptist Church in Charlevoix. Families arrive and are greeted with smiling faces, hot dogs on the grill, and volunteers eager to help them get their needed supplies. Each child chooses a backpack of their choice and then proceeds down the line being given all the supplies they need for the school year. Over 80 students in the Charlevoix area benefit from this program.

There are many ways to volunteer with this program:

• Cook hotdogs
• Help with food set up and clean up
• Run a table to give supplies to students as they arrive
• Help organize students as they arrive
• Help set up and tear down tables and chairs

This commitment is usually 2 hours long and once a year.
