Bring a Haunted Woodland Trail to Life for a Veteran-Owned Dog Rescue

Legacy Paws Rescue is a veteran-owned 501(c)(3) dog rescue and sanctuary on five acres of natural woodland property in Catawba, North Carolina. We are building a haunted trail fundraiser and need a Creative Director to design and execute the experience from concept through opening night. Our property includes woodland trails, creek crossings, and natural terrain that sets the stage — we need someone with the vision and skills to transform it into something people talk about long after October ends. Responsibilities include designing the overall creative concept, planning scenes and scares along the trail, sourcing props and materials within a budget, directing setup and build days on the property, and being present for event nights to oversee the experience. This role has genuine creative ownership and the freedom to build something original. Local candidates in Catawba County and surrounding North Carolina areas are required as in-person presence is essential for this role.
